Crayon Carving - SOLD
This purse was such fun to make! The interior is a quilt-like medley of coordinated geometric canes. The closure bead is carved to fit seamlessly onto the carving on the purse body. And the textured carving makes this polymer clay purse feel almost leather-like.
The technique for making my purses was refined during a class with Kathleen Dustin at Creative Journey Studios. What I learned from this remarkable artist continues to impact my purses. The original circular mold I made was enlarged to accommodate newer phones and measures approximately 7.5” across and 2.33” deep.
