Standing Proud - SOLD

$300.00
sold out

This grey heron was inspired by a trip to Ireland with my sister Megsy. Each feather is textured and hand-shaped and the heron rests on a mokume gane background reminiscent of water, earth and sky. During a class at Creative Journey Studios, Ellen Propheter taught the mokume gane technique - amazing and ever-changing!

The technique for making my purses was refined during a different class - with Kathleen Dustin - also at Creative Journey Studios. What I learned from this remarkable artist continues to impact my purses.

While this purse is sold, commissions are accepted. Please contact me for details.
