String Art Swirls - SOLD

$200.00
sold out

During a retreat of the Kentucky/Tennessee Polymer Clay Guild, organized by the inimitable Dr. Ron Lehocky of Louisville, a wonderful clay artist taught his string art technique. Not stopping with just sharing the technique, Jan Montarsi also shared how to sand polymer clay to a touchable, silk-like finish. I am forever grateful. The string art technique makes for layered colors which are revealed only with sanding. On this purse, the technique makes for swirling shimmering colors.

The technique for making my purses was refined during a class with Kathleen Dustin at Creative Journey Studios. What I learned from this remarkable artist continues to impact my purses. This purse uses a metal frame so that it accommodates larger phones and measures approximately 8” long, 2” deep, 4.75 “ high.

While this purse is sold, commissions are accepted. Please contact me for details.
