BlackBird - SOLD

$300.00
sold out

Carving is a technique which works well with polymer clay. After all the underlayers are cured, I carve freehand into a top layer which is still raw clay. The picture evolves as details are added. The front closure on this bird hides well, with the button fitting into the carving and the black buna cord disappearing into the black of the bird.

The technique for making my purses was refined during a class with Kathleen Dustin at Creative Journey Studios. What I learned from this remarkable artist continues to impact my purses. This design uses a metal frame to accommodate larger phones and measure approximately 8” long, 2.75” deep and 4.75” high.

While this purse is sold, commissions are accepted. Please contact me for details.
