Swirling Stripes

$190.00

Oh this purse was fun to make!

Having just bought a paper embosser, I put it to use texturing leftover polymer clay, which was then painted with various shades of liquid clay. I cut strips using a double bladed knife (a tool I shall always have nearby!) Interspersing strips of texture with those cut from polymer clay designs and the fun began. Curving seemed natural…as did meeting the curves on the top of the purse.

Having heard from some customers that they don’t use leather, I made a crossbody macrame strap, with coordinated beads.

Dimensions: 7.25 wide, 5.75 high, 2.25 deep
