Ginko leaves are one of my favorites, watching the tree leaf out in spring and turn gold in the fall is a true pleasure. This small clutch is for special occasions, with a 3D printed interior to keep the weight light.
In making the leaves, I used the string theory technique created by the wonderful Jan Montarsi. This technique reveals surprises as one sands off the top muted surface, to reveal the various colors and mica shine hidden within. It is great fun to do!
